Accedo has been selected to speak at IPTV World Forum Eastern Europe

The conference will feature over 15 eastern European telcos and ISPs discussing service deployment issues. Fredrik Andersson, VP Business Development at Accedo, will speak on the subject “IPTV- new distribution opportunities for new content” and thereby share experiences from deployments of value added services such as games, karaoke on demand and PlasmaArt in IPTV networks. Eastern Europe is likely to become a very exciting marketplace for IPTV over the next years as the combined effects of privatizations, EU application and general deregulation in the region leads to more competition and infrastructure upgrades. Also, the region has a relatively low penetration of digital-TV which of course will benefit IPTV deployments. The conference will be held in Budapest on the 22-23rd of June.
