Berlin, Germany – August 30, 2007 – Accedo Broadband and DivX, Inc. today announced that Accedo’s diverse selection of TV gaming services will be integrated into the DivX Connected platform. Demonstrating the flexibility and robustness of the DivX Connected solution, users will not only be able to access their high quality video or music content but can also play FunspotTM casino games, sudoku puzzles or enjoy their favorite board games in the comfort of the living room.

DivX Connected is a powerful, easy-to-use open platform that brings a high-quality digital media experience to the living room, allowing consumers to access media content and services from the PC and Internet through a range of consumer electronics devices. The first DivX Connected devices from consumer electronics manufacturers are expected to be available in retail outlets in the fourth quarter of 2007. The Funspot™ service is currently the largest casual gaming service for online consumer electronics and IPTV, with a large selection of arcade, puzzle and quiz games for all ages.

By integrating our offering with DivX Connected we are expanding the audience for such broadband-enabled services that successfully use remote control interaction and a user interface suited for ‘10-feet viewing,’” said Michael Lantz, CEO of Accedo Broadband. “The openness and sophistication of the user experience delivered by the DivX Connected platform makes for a seamless integration of the offerings from Accedo. We are sure Connected owners are going to love to play our FunspotTM games.”

“We are very excited to add compelling third-party services and high-quality games like those from Accedo to the overall experience we’ll offer to DivX Connected users,” said Jerome 'Gej' Vashisht-Rota, Co-founder, Vice President & Group Business Manager, Media Experience, at DivX, Inc. “We believe in a truly open platform that offers a wide variety of high-quality media and entertainment options for users and we look forward to adding more services to the platform as we move forward.”

About DivX, Inc.

DivX creates products and services designed to improve the experience of media. Our first product offering was a video compression-decompression software library, or codec, which has been actively sought out and downloaded over 240 million times since January 2003, including over 80 million times during the last twelve months. We have since built on the success of our codec with other consumer software, including the DivX Player application, which is distributed from our website, www.divx.com. We also license our technologies to consumer hardware device manufacturers and certify their products to ensure the interoperable support of DivX-encoded content. In addition to technology licensing to consumer hardware device manufacturers, we currently generate revenue from software licensing, advertising and content distribution.
